Tom Mort is a dental interoperability strategist and industry architect with more than 25 years of experience identifying complex challenges in provider-payer interactions, engineering solutions, and driving industry-wide adoption.
As Principal Product Manager at Vyne Dental, Tom continues to shape the evolution of electronic dental transactions — from claims and eligibility to attachments and payments. His fingerprints are on nearly every electronic dental claim processed in the U.S. today, a reflection of two decades spent building the infrastructure that keeps dental interoperability running — including through the industry's most significant period of market disruption in recent history.
Tom serves as Chairperson of the Board of NDEDIC and leads its AI Opportunities workgroup, sits on the advisory board of the Oral Healthcare Interoperability Alliance, and participates in the EDI and Operations workgroups at NADP, X12, and the ADA. He is a sought-after partner for organizations working on hard problems in dental interoperability, AI's intersection with healthcare transactions, and the future of provider-payer connectivity.
