Liliana Martinez, MBA, is a seasoned professional in the dental industry, currently serving as the director of payer contracting and credentialing at Smile Brands Inc. Since joining the company in 2018, Liliana has been instrumental in overseeing the daily operations of the provider credentialing and fee administration teams, providing support to over 600 facilities across 30 states.

Liliana's dedication to excellence is evident through her involvement with the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP), where she has contributed to several workgroups. Additionally, she is a procedural quality assurance consultant through the California Association of Dental Plans (CADP).

With an impressive career spanning over 25 years, Liliana has played a pivotal role in establishing streamlined and efficient credentialing processes for thousands of healthcare providers nationwide. Her unwavering vision is centered around creating unified, patient-centric partnerships that drive positive outcomes for patients, providers, and payers, a passion that fuels her daily work.

Liliana's academic accomplishments include a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix, which, combined with her extensive hands-on experience, empowers her with the expertise to navigate the complexities of the healthcare industry.

Robin Marino, RDH

Director, Dental Networks

Robin has managed, collaborated, and coached a nationwide Dental Network Recruiters and Network Service Coordinators team for 11 years with Zelis.  She has industry knowledge about trends and growth in Dental PPO, DHMO, DSO Growth, Network Partnering, and Network Solutions.  Robin is also a Registered Dental Hygienist with up-to-date clinical experience and practice knowledge and continues to smile brightly, having served close to 40 years in the industry.





Deb Ramsey

Second Vice President of Provider Operations

Ameritas

Deb Ramsay is the second vice president of provider operations at Ameritas. She currently leads the nationwide PPO dental network, focusing on management and innovation, leading the provider relations network teams at Ameritas & Dental Select. This includes oversight of the PPO dental network strategy, administration, credentialing, delegated credentialing, network leasing, provider data management and reporting, integration of state and federal network regulations, customer service, and network systems.  In conjunction with the above, she is an executive and functional sponsor for division and enterprise projects and oversees the execution and delivery of key initiatives. Deb has been in the dental industry for over 37 years as an orthodontic assistant, dental office management, and dental insurance.  She began her career with Ameritas in 1990 and has spent most of her tenure in provider network and operations. Deb attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln and currently volunteers on the NADP Operations Workgroup and has been a member of NADP for more than eight years. 



Kristen Smith

Director of Dental Network Operations

United Concordia

Kristen Smith is the director of dental network operations at United Concordia.  She is responsible for all credentialing, delegated credentialing, provider data management, and support functions.  

Kristen has more than 32 years of clinical and administrative dental experience.  She has worked for United Concordia for 30 years and has held positions in professional relations, claims operations, and audit, provider data management, quality/process improvement, and project management. Before United Concordia, she worked as a dental office manager and clinical dental assistant. 

Kristen earned a Bachelor of Science from East Stroudsburg University, a PA Teaching Certificate, and is a Juran-certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
