HOW CAN I GET THE MEMBER RATE?
If you are NOT a CADP Member and would like to receive the member rate, you must have a CADP member company sponsor your registration in order to qualify for the discount. In order to do that, you must have the company email us at education@cadp.org stating that you will be performing audits for them within the next 12 months.

The course will take place on Feb. 6 from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm PT and Feb. 7 from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm PT. Participants MUST attend both days for course completion. 

Meals Included: The course includes a light breakfast, lunch and an afternoon break on Feb 6. Light breakfast and lunch on Feb. 7.  A full cooked-to-order breakfast is available to hotel guests only.  

ATTIRE: Business casual. Bring a sweater or jacket as meeting rooms may be cold.   

Participants who complete the course will receive notification of course completion within 60 days. Passage of the course exam is required for certification as a Certified or Procedural Quality Assurance Consultant. This course meets the Dental Board of California’s requirements for 18.5 units of continuing education.  

If a registrant needs to cancel, notifications must be received by CADP at education@cadp.org by 5:00 pm PT on December 1, 2023 to be eligible for a refund of the registration rate minus a $75 processing fee. Cancellations received between December 2-20, 2023 will be eligible for a refund minus a $150 processing fee. Starting December 21, there will be no refunds issued and no shows will forfeit their entire registration fee. Registration closes 1/26/24 or before if course sells out. Onsite registration is not available.

If we need to cancel the QA Course, CADP will notify registrants as soon as feasible. The QA Course cannot be taught virtually, so we would reschedule for later in the year if the February 2024 dates are unworkable.

There are two categories of consultants being certified by CADP.      

The Procedural QA Consultant is a non-dentist.  This classification requires:  

• A minimum of three years in the dental field (auxiliary, dental assistant, registered dental assistant, licensed dental hygienist, dental office staff, or insurance industry.) 

The Certified QA Consultant is a dentist.  This classification requires:  

• Current valid license to practice dentistry in the United States, without encumbrances.
• Minimum three years experience in the dental field after graduation from dental school, with a statement of clinical practice experience.
• Minimum one-year experience in the insurance industry (auditor, consultant, plan staff, etc.) 

A certificate of course completion (only) is awarded to those attendees who do not meet the basic requirements for certification.  The course completion certificate acknowledges the ability to perform a quality assurance assessment, however, the licensure, clinical, or insurance requirements for credentialing have not been satisfied.  Persons holding this certificate are encouraged to pursue positions, which allow the deficiencies to be corrected.     

CADP requests that all QA Assessments intended for use in the shared assessment project are performed by CADP Certified QA Consultants only.  This request validates the principles of the shared assessment by assuring that all consultants have met minimum requirements.
