In Washington, DC, NADP has remained the voice of the dental benefits industry and provided substantial advocacy efforts to advance oral health.

Keri Shepherd, JD MBA CEBS is an employer benefits legal specialist with over two decades of successful experience in multiple functional areas at life/health insurance carriers such as regulatory legal compliance, dental product developer, dental product manager, dental business to business sales, dental business to consumer sales, federal regulations specialist such as ERISA, the ACA, Section 125, and the No Surprises Act. Keri had focus on dental individual and group products at a large, national carrier for employers and government programs that have various funding arrangements.
Keri received her Bachelor’s of the Arts (BA) with honors from UCLA in History, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from CSULB, and her Juris Doctor (JD) from Pacific Coast University School of Law in 2019. Keri is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and is eligible for in-house with the California State Bar. In 2012 Keri received her Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans/Wharton School of Business and is currently compliant with Continuing Education requirements. Keri also has an active Notary Public commission in California and hold an active life & health insurance license in California.
