Tell me if this hurts – Identifying the challenges dental offices have with insurance

NADP Director of Research and Information Jerry Berggren will present timely data from the first-ever joint survey conducted by the National Association of Dental Plans (NADP) and American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM) in early 2025.
The survey of nearly 400 dental office managers sought input to identify pain points in claims, reimbursement, credentialing and benefit verification and preauthorization.
In addition, Jerry will identify the key areas for improvement that carrier and dental offices can make that have the greatest potential to improve dental office satisfaction and reduce their administrative burden when working with dental insurance plans.

Jerry brings over 20 years of experience in market research, strategy and analysis to his role at NADP. Prior to joining NADP in 2004, Jerry worked in market research and advertising in healthcare, financial services and electric utility industries. Jerry earned his BA in Political Science from Louisiana State University and his MBA from Tulane University.
