NADP Informatics Manager Brian Flynn represented the dental benefits industry at the X12, Code Maintenance Committee and Dental Caucus meetings May 30 - June 4 in San Antonio. Discussion topics included 7030 changes and timing for release, the effect of ICD-10 going live Oct. 1, 2015 and the potential use of the 838 transaction. X12, chartered by the American National Standards Institute, develops and maintains standards, which drive business processes globally. As your representative, NADP monitors developments of healthcare standards to ensure the unique needs of the dental industry are met.

Because the broker community outreach remains a high a priority, NADP Director of Research Jerry Berggren and Director of Membership and Communications Rene Chapin are participating in the National Association of Health Underwriters Trade Show in New Orleans, Louisiana June 28-30. NADP promoted the value of dental benefits and increased brand awareness for the association during this event.
